Social Days: 1 Team. 1 Day. 1 Goal.

Social commitment is a major concern for us at HAMBURG TEAM. Last year, we volunteered to support the associations tatkräftig e.V. and NABU e.V. to make a difference together as a team.

Hamburg cleans up

On our first Social Day 2023, we participated in Germany's largest city clean-up action "Hamburg cleans up". With a powerful crew, we were on the go on the Hamburg Elbe riverbank to "clear up".

In the beautiful district of Övelgönne, we removed everything that doesn't belong here and harms the environment: plastic, glass, textiles, and tons of cigarette butts. We even "bagged" a grill. A successful action, which we will participate in again next year.

"Living Alster" with NABU e.V.

A merger of three nature conservation associations has been advocating for the Alster since 2012 in order to improve its ecological status and to raise awareness of nature conservation along the Alster, Hamburg's second-largest river - an impressive project called "Vibrant Alster". In beautiful autumn weather, a group gathered to experience another social day in the light of nature conservation. In doing this, we contributed to the restoration of the river by incorporating 15 tons of gravel into the river bed. A sweaty task!

Volunteer Day with Tatkräftig e.V.

Under the motto 1 Team. 1 Day. 1 Goal. we proactively, in conjunction with the association, revamped the garden for the Kids & Teens of the Beetle Group at the Anscharhöhe Foundation in June 2022. Despite the initially bad weather, the 11 colleagues and a dog didn't let themselves be deterred and set to work like a fire brigade. A huge area was pruned, power-washed, weeded, and made "playable" again. At the end of the day, a complete container was filled with weeds.

Practise meets Campus

EBZ Business School: Open Campus Day

The HAMBURG TEAM visited the EBZ Business School - University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. During the open campus day, there were exciting insights into the world of project development. We mainly presented our core business, neighborhood development, and the everyday challenges in project work. Our goal was particularly to provide tips and impressions from the industry for the later application phase.

HAWK Holzminden: Company Contact Fair

Also this year, we were again guests at the company contact fair of the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen and were able to experience exciting discussions with the students. Our team guided behind the scenes of HAMBURG TEAM, gave insights into corporate culture and entry opportunities. The career event celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
